Although Mahindra has a compact SUV in the form of Quanto, it is more on the utilitarian side. Now, the maker will offer a typical crossover, which is slated to be one of the best cars from Mahindra. The S101 will be less than four meters in length to avail excise duty cuts. Even though the exact dimensions of the car are not known, it could be the smallest car from the maker.
Mahindra Quanto AMT – Ever since Maruti successfully introduced the AMT technology in the Celerio, rival makers have included the feature in their new cars. A few of the existing models were also facelifted to incorporate the new technology. Mahindra is all set to offer the AMT technology in its compact SUV, Quanto. Carrying a price tag ranging between 6 and 6.4 lakh rupees, this variant will feature an all-new five-speed automatic transmission.
